Atlanta Music Education offers opportunities to the Atlanta, Decatur and surrounding Atlanta communities bringing music education into families’ lives every day.

Ms. Elexa and her partner, Mr. Matt started this children’s program in 2010 offering private music lessons, group classes, birthday parties and camps throughout the year. They specialized in voice, piano, ukulele, guitar and percussion. Tragically, we lost Matt in 2016 and we miss him everyday.

Many of Atlanta Music Education students are multidisciplinary in the instruments. Students perform in Capitol City Opera Children’s Chorus, Ukulele night at the Greater Good BBQ, Tucker Farmer’s Market, local school musicals and talent shows, Georgia All State Choir and performing for the Atlanta Music Club to name a few.

Elexa’s team of teachers maintain a modern approach to music education and are not stuck in method book styles alone. She directly encourages a foundation of solid music theory understanding mixed with the fun of learning the classics to the popular radio songs and musical theatre of today.
