After living in Orlando, Florida for three and a half months, I've learned everything there is to know about making your trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Universal Orlando Resort fantastic! I visited as much as I could while living in Orlando, and I'm happy to share what I've learned.
This may not be obvious to someone experiencing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for the first time, but the express line and the standard line for the Forbidden Journey experiences are totally different. You get to see so many extra cool rooms and classrooms in Hogwarts when you use the express line. So if you ever get the chance to use an express pass...DO IT!

Chat with the team members at Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade! One of the team members we talked to found a spot for us to use our wands that was UNMARKED on the map.
Hogwarts Student Style
Try on the Hogwarts robes at the shops! You don't have to buy them to try on a robe and take a few cute pictures for social media. If you do want one, know that they are expensive, so you need to save up.
Drinking at Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade
Make sure to google the beer names before you go! The beverages have these awesome Harry Potter-inspired names, but you won't know what actual kind of beer you are ordering if you do not look it up.
BONUS TIP: New Shopping Areas
Universal Orlando Resort has TWO new stores located at the City Walk with tons of unique and new Harry Potter merch! You can find bags, freaking fancy dining Hogwarts-inspired dishes and glasses, clothes, and accessories. There are soooo many things to buy in the stores that aren't offered in the shops in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade.
